Citrus Spiced Tea: A Recipe!

My mom used to make this delicious tea during the fall and winter. She called it Friendship tea. You can call it Friendship tea if you like, but I have decided to rename it (because I'm such a grownup).

Alas! Here is the recipe for Citrus Spiced Tea. It's perfect for a sour throat or a cold fall night.

1 cup instant tea mix (unsweetened)
1 cup orange drink mix (Tang, yo!)
1 cup lemonade mix (I like Countrytime)
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Mix everything together in a large ziploc bag. Store in an airtight container. Use 2-3 teaspoons per mug, add hot water, and enjoy yourself.

You're bound to have leftovers, since instant tea, tang, and lemonade mix all come in extra large quantities. So why not make a double batch and share with your friends?

I think I'm going to put them in cute little jars and give them out as Christmas presents.

Chao,
Amy
