I've been fortunate enough to not only A) Find friends in Houston, but also B) Find friends in Houston that want to get together for craft nights! I used to try to get my Oklahomies together for crafty times, but no one would ever oblige me except for maybe one time (sorry ladies, I love you but you KNOW how I feel about crafts).
The craft nights have been exactly what I needed to get over my creative slump. I made these felt trees (there are actually 2 of them) to add to my wintery home decor. PLUS, as an added bonus, sometimes my friend Kat cooks delicious things like healthy nachos (yeah, that's right, I said healthy nachos) and eggs florentine. YUM!

She also crochets a mean pot holder. I'd post a picture here, but Kat was all "Bah Humbug" about having her picture taken.

The craft nights have given me the motivation to finish a crochet project! It's been years since this has happened people. YEARS!

I just crocheted a scarf and then stitched the ends together to turn it into a cowl. It's made from some really soft fancy yarn that I got for my birthday last year.
Tonight Cody and I are going to a Secret Santa party thing. I'm supposed to bring something to eat. What should I make?
