We did visit Boulder on our first day there and it is Outdoorsy central. If you like to wear your Northface pullover with your Chacos while you're driving your Subaru Outback up a mountain, then you need to move to Boulder (Margaret, I'm talking to you). You'll fit right in. It was hard not to feel lazy in this town (I am the opposite of outdoorsy).

After Boulder, Cody told me that we were going to our hotel and that it would be about an hour long drive. And so, we started to drive toward the mountains. Even at this stage in the trip I was all, "Ohmygod look at the mouuuuntains!!! I think I can see snow!!"

And then we arrived! Ohmygod look at the mountains is an understatement. It was so beautiful. I've never seen anything like it in my life. We stayed in an adorable woodsy condo at the Keystone resort.

And we ate ungodly amounts of bacon. I think we had it with every meal.

We also took photos like these. What's a weekend in the mountains without cheesy photographs?

Happy anniversary Cody. I love you truly and madly and I'm glad to have you by my side :)
